A great opportunity to grow your career in Engineering. You will receive practical training in the faculty’s extensively equipped workshops/laboratories and broad-based training on a range of standard/specialised engineering processes, instrumentation, test and measurement, all from our experienced and qualified engineering technicians.
The Faculty’s well-equipped workshops and laboratories provide an ideal environment for high-quality, on-the-job training. Over the first 6-8 months you will undertake basic training followed by focused specialist training within designated teams and facilities across the faculty, allowing you to build your new practical skills and knowledge in specialist engineering disciplines.
There will be opportunities for you to learn and train on a wide range of cutting-edge engineering technologies and disciplines including:
- CNC machining including CAD/CAM.
- Rig design, build and modification.
- Materials testing and characterisation.
- Other engineering processes/areas as needed.
